Sorry for the blog hiatus, but it is back up and running

Meet the Muscari Family! We met up a couple weeks ago at a park out in Geneva, IL. For most of my portrait sessions I book them at forest preserves or parks, and this location is definitely a new fave. I had so much fun capturing their personalities and candid moments. Sandi and Casey were beyond easy to capture. Their love radiated every environment we were in and I feel so thankful to have been apart of their wedding day. Their true passion for one another made capturing their love story so simple for me. I wish you both the best of luck! Enjoy your post

For anyone who is wondering, I purchased the tree decor at Walmart They have a cute little wedding section.
I LOVE that no one is ready or paying attention here. Such a fun group of girls to work with!
I am not 100% what the joke was, but it was an inside joke between these girls

These guys were hilarious. I think I was laughing so hard during this photo that I could barely snap the shot!
I love this photo for so many reasons, haha!

Dyver + Cristina

Working with Dyver and Cristina was a blast! I had so much fun getting to know them during our session and the lighting was spectacular We first started in just about the ONLY field I could find in Chicago (haha) and then headed up to the parking garage right outside my apartment building. Their love for one another was so easy to capture, and if you have not noticed, they are adorable

I hope you two had a great visit in Chicago and a safe flight back to Texas!

Zac + Olivia

To say and I am excited to share these images with you would be a MAJOR under statement. My best friend/assistant, Lauren Fogwell, and I drove out the night before to Morton,IL to prepare to photograph Zac and Olivia’s special day. Not only was I looking forward to working with this couple again, but I was ecstatic that it was an OUTDOOR wedding. It has always been a dream for Olivia and I am so happy that the weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky

From the time the day started, both families were so helpful and fun to work with. I want to specifically thank Mrs. Ekema for her amazing organizational skills. I do not think the photo schedule would have gone as smoothly as it did without her.

My heart melted during Zac and Olivia’s first look. It was was my first experience photographing one and I must say, I am a huge fan of the bride and groom seeing eachother before the wedding. Such an indescribable moment. We also were fortunate enough to photograph the family and bridal party at one of the most beautiful homes I have ever seen! Everything about that mansion was breathe taking!

The wedding on the golf course was a like a fairy tale. A blue sky, white chairs, perfect summer breeze, and fresh yellow rose pedals scattered down the isle. The evening ended with a beautiful reception filled with family and friends. I loved all the fun games that were played and special moments that were shared.

Congratulations to you guys! I wish you both the best in Nashville and finishing up your senior year at Olivet University. And Olivia, I hope you can officially meet Taylor Swift when you move to to Nashville

David + Sheena

This has to be a world record, a wedding edited and blogged in 3 days!

Anyways, this wedding day was absolutely perfect and I am so excited to share it with you all. Because of the bride and grooms care-free spirit, I was able to be as creative as possible Sheena and David got married at a small white museum that could not have been more adorable. It was a perfect setting for photographing the newly-wed couple and the bridal party. The reception was fabulous too. Filled with family, friends, food, laughter, and dancing.

A huge thank you to my amazing assistant who was so helpful the entire day and did not even complain ONCE about the heat! Thank you, Kelsey!
