Zac and Olivia | Chicago Engagement Photographer

Before I transferred to Harrington College of Design , I used to attend Olivet Nazarene in Bourbonnais, IL. When I attended this school, I remember repeatedly seeing this adorable couple around campus that seemed so smitten with each other. Who knew that a couple years later I would be taking their engagement photos. Life is wonderful in that way, isn’t it?

When Olivia contacted me a couple weeks back about shooting their engagement photos and wedding, I could not have been more excited! During that month, I had scouted some fun locations in the city of Chicago and gathered some fun props, courtesy of Urban Outfitters and my grandparents house;)

When Olivia and Zac arrived into the city, they must have thought I was crazy! I had a suitcase full of little props and an entire table set! Due to some unexpected traffic, the shoot started a little late, but that was not going to stop us from having a good time. From the beginning, Zac and Olivia’s love for each other shined through in every frame. The emotions they created in front of the camera were pure magic. Thank you Zac and Olivia for running around in the city with me and being open to all my ideas. I am SO excited to photograph your wedding in July:)

Also, a big thank you to my sister, Kate Fortson, for driving out to the city just to help transport the table!!
