Me: “Are you ready to marry Amy today?!”
Mike: “Honestly Maggie, I knew I was ready when I met Amy.”
. . .
I don’t think I really believed in the phrase “soul mates” until I met these two. It is just that simple . . . they were made for each other. I have absolutely loved getting to know them over the past year. I met them, and CLICK, I knew I was the right photographer for them. They completely trusted me and opened their hearts to my camera.
This was my first ( . . .and hopefully not the last!) wedding where the decor was vintage inspired. It was a dream to photograph! The day started at an adorable salon in Lemont, IL. During the couple hours of capturing the bridesmaids getting ready, they felt like friends. Seriously, I have never worked with such a kind group of people in my life! After finishing up at the salon, we all went on over to Narnia. Yes, you read that correctlyAmy and Mike chose an incredible venue for their outdoor wedding called the “Narnia Estate”. When I got to the location, my heart skipped a beat. It was absolutely incredible! Mike and I went outside the mansion and Amy came out for their “first look”. When you all see those images in the post, you might cry yourself! It was so incredibly touching to see how happy they were to know they were about to become one. As the day went on, it only got better! Everyone danced the night away, and I left feeling overwhelmed with the amount of love that was documented on my camera that day.
Grab a snack . . . this is a LONG post
