I purchase most of my equipment from B&H PHOTO and CALUMET PHOTOGRAPHIC .
What is in my bag:
Canon 5D Mark II (For weddings I rent a backup camera from Calumet)
50mm 1.8
80mm 1.8
35 mm tilt shift 2.8
(I also rent lens)
Canon 430 EX II Flash
Light stand
pocket wizards
battery chargers
rechargeable batteries
5 memory cards
card reader
3 backup external hard drives
AB800 strobe with 47″ soft box
LD video light
Processing:
MAC (converted to MAC in 2007 and will never use PC again, haha)
Photoshop CS4
Bridge (organized my files)
Lightroom beta 3
I never really process each session the same. It depends on the look of the shoot and what style I am going for. I typically use my own actions and presets , but I also use TRA ACTIONS , RED LEAF ACTIONS , and MCP ACTIONS . I always do my basic adjustments on a photo before I run an action. I also NEVER run and action and flatten. It is all about TWEAKING.
Printing:
I have all my client images printed through WHCC print lab. Seriously, they are amazing. They have awesome customer service, and I have yet to be disappointed with my prints. Remember, in order to process your photos correctly and for the skin tones to look a correct, you MUST calibrate your monitor. I calibrate mine with SPYDER3EXPRESS
